The LGBTQ+ movement has made great strides, but as evidenced by current local and national dangers, there is a lot more work to be done. In fact, people who live at the intersection of identities tend to fall through the gaps of systems and offerings. Our work exists to address all of that and more.

We have built our robust programs with all-volunteer teams but we need more resources to sustain our vital programs and ensure our upward growth. With your support, GALAS is able to fill the gaps that are missed by larger LGBTQ+ nonprofits in serving our community, by growing our culturally responsive programming and continue providing critical resources.
Continue developing our multi-phased K-12 education offerings
Offer academic scholarships and internships
Expand our mental health services to offer pro-rated therapy partnerships
Enrich our community crisis response programs with trainings, resources and direct aid
Host more LGBTQ+ Armenian leaders, creatives, and curated events
