ABOUT THE EVENT

This session focuses on Western Armenian language and storytelling through experimental and contemporary forms. We’ll begin with a poetry warm-up before diving into our main reading, which features essays by Armenian Creatives engaging Western Armenian in innovative and personal ways.

Together, we’ll explore how language shifts, adapts, and survives, especially through creative expression. This session invites reflection on diaspora, linguistic inheritance, and the possibilities of writing beyond traditional forms.
