ABOUT THE EVENT
Join us as Alexia Hatun, a PhD student in Armenian studies at UCLA and a core member of in-person Ejanish, leads an engaging session on the poetry of Zahrad. Born in 1924 in Constantinople and passing in 2007 in Istanbul, Zahrad’s poetry shines for its simplicity, narrative magic, and deeply relatable characters. His work feels like a modern-day fairy tale, full of universal truths and beauty. Don’t miss this chance to connect across distance and celebrate the artistry of Zahrad!
