Queernissage 2023

Queernissage returns on August 5th! We are ecstatic to bring together so many LGBTQ+ Armenians, our neighbors from Southwest Asia and North Africa (SWANA), and our allies for this unique, open-air, bazaar-style market.

Together we celebrate the artists, the designers, and the creatives among us. Join us for a day of good food, spectacular artistry and immaculate vibes. This family-friendly event is open to everyone and everybody.

Queernissage is an homage to “Vernissage,” the open air market in Armenia that has been a gathering place for artists and merchants for decades. Queernissage celebrates the incredible talent within our community to the public and creates a safe space for LGBTQ+ SWANA and allies to gather and celebrate.

This year Queernissage will be a ticketed event. Your support through tickets are a direct donation to GALAS LGBTQ+ Armenian Society. GALAS is an all volunteer run non-profit that has served as the leading voice in advancing equality for LGBTQ+ Armenians worldwide since 1998. Your donations support the critical resources we provide for our community, including educational programs, community events, and mental health resources, as we enter our 25th year of service.
